Higgins Heritage Park Inc is a society of various groups of like-minded people who wish to preserve our heritage and especially to promote the rural environment and ways of life of days gone by.
The goals of Higgins Heritage Park Inc as defined in the 2014 Constitution include but are not limited to:
Higgins Heritage Park Inc aims to provide all New Zealanders and International visitors the opportunity to see the transport, logging and farming heritage of our forefathers. Our goal is to provide a welcoming and safe environment for all visitors so they may gain an awareness of the machinery and life as it was for previous generations. Higgins Heritage Park Inc will achieve this goal through:
Providing like-minded displays, working demonstrations and attractions which represent the past generations of the lifestyles in the Nelson / Tasman district.
